The glass is heat-dried at temperatures of up to 700°C so the particles flow freely for cleaning and activation purposes. It is then sized to a sub-angular shape which provides a smoother surface than other glass grits. The glass grit is packaged dry for easy use in woven polypropylene bags
with inner liners.
